Ingredients

  • tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp brewed strong coffee cooled
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until well combined.
  • Add the cooled coffee, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until the batter is smooth and no lumps remain.
  • Gently fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  • Microwave on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds to 2 minutes, or until the cake has risen and the center is set.
  • Let the mug cake cool for 1-2 minutes before enjoying.
