Cuisine American
- 4 tbsp gluten-free all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp milk any type works, but whole milk adds richness
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter for extra flavor
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
In a microwave-safe mug, combine the gluten-free flour, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix well with a fork.
Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until you have a smooth batter.
Fold in 1½ tbsp of the chocolate chips, saving the remaining ½ tbsp for topping.
Microwave the mug on high for 60–90 seconds, depending on your microwave’s power. Check after 60 seconds; the cake should be slightly gooey in the center.
Let it cool for 1 minute, then top with the reserved chocolate chips. Enjoy warm.
