  • 4 tbsp gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 2 tbsp milk any type works, but whole milk adds richness
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter for extra flavor
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • In a microwave-safe mug, combine the gluten-free flour, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix well with a fork.

  • Fold in 1½ tbsp of the chocolate chips, saving the remaining ½ tbsp for topping.
  • Microwave the mug on high for 60–90 seconds, depending on your microwave’s power. Check after 60 seconds; the cake should be slightly gooey in the center.
