- ¼ cup + 1 tbsp self-rising flour
- 1 oz milk chocolate broken into pieces
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- ⅛ tsp salt
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
- 1 large egg
- 3 tbsp whole milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ⅛ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp water
For the Topping:
- 1 scoop of ice cream
- 1 tbsp assorted berries
In a microwave-safe mug, combine the self-rising flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, salt, and ground cinnamon. Mix well to ensure there are no lumps.
Add the melted butter, egg, whole milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until the batter is smooth and well-combined.
Place the chocolate pieces in the center of the batter. Pour the water over the chocolate pieces.
Microwave the mug on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
Allow the cake to cool for a minute before topping it with a scoop of ice cream and assorted berries.
