  • 1 1/3 oz dark chocolate broken into small pieces
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon cherry jam
  • 1/3 oz dark chocolate grated
  • 1 tablespoon cherry pie filling
  • Whipped cream or ¼ cup heavy cream whipped
  • 1 fresh cherry

Instructions
 

  • Combine Dry Ingredients: In a microwave-safe mug, mix the self-rising flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  • Add Chocolate and Butter: Stir in the dark chocolate pieces and melted butter until well combined.
  • Mix Wet Ingredients: In a small bowl, lightly beat the egg. Add the egg and milk to the mug and mix until smooth.
  • Cherry Jam: Gently fold in the cherry jam, creating swirls throughout the batter.
  • Microwave: Microwave on high for about 1 minute and 30 seconds, or until the cake has risen and is set in the center. Be careful not to overcook!
